CM becomes aggressive on Twitter, flays Centre

BHOPAL: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who generally uses Twitter for the publicity of the government schemes, is now using it to show his aggression. Chauhan has taken such a stand because of the ensuing assembly elections.

Chauhan, on the lines of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, is not only using Twitter to attack the UPA government but he is also using it as a forum to challenge his opponents.

Chauhan on Wednesday twitted that the opposition launching personal attack on him shows that the actual work at grass- roots level has been done properly and there is no complaint.

The other day Chauhan had condemned the food security bill and alleged that the Centre is using it as a tool to befool people. He said it is difficult to understand how states are going to manage the implications of this bill.

However, Chauhan termed the state- run ‘ Annapurna ojana’ as a perfect scheme. Chauhan also severely condemned the UPA government for decline in Indian economy. GOVT PAYS TWITTER EPENSES

Twitter is maintained on government expenses The twitter account of Shivraj Singh Chauhan is funded by the government. Sources said a Gujarat- based agency has been assigned the task of posting Chauhan’s statements on Twitter and the agency is paid by the state government.

Vivek Agarwal, who is the secretary in CM secretariat, looks after the tweets made by Chauhan. However, once the code of conduct comes into effect, Chauhan himself has to meet the expenses.
