CM attends bhoomi pujans, inaugurations worth `46 cr

Burhanpur : CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan inaugurated the ambitious MIC hall costing around Rs 23.16 L at Burhanpur on Friday, and inaugurated many other projects such as 1500 toilets under the Mukhya Mantri Shahari Swachta Karyakram (costing around Rs 201 L), business centre and school at around Rs 27 Lakh under BRGF scheme at Nyamatpura ward, a community centre in Alamganj ward (costing around 26 L), a community hall for the Nishadrajs, (Rs 27L), CC road and laying charcoal on roads from State Highway from Azad Nagar Chauraha(Rs 226 L), Community Hall at Indira Colony (Rs 209L), a hawker zone in front of the Bus stand (Rs 12 L). The total cost of the projects in the Bhoomipujan ceremony by the CM was around 768L, while the total cost of projects dedicated to public including Bhoomipujan projects was around 46 cr.

State BJP Chief Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan—State BJP Chief welcomed the Chief Guest—CM Shivrah Singh Chauhan along with MLA Archana Chitnis, EX MLA Shivhare, Nepanagar MLA Rajendra Dadu, Mayor Madhuri Atul Patel, district President of BJP Dileep Shroff, Ex MLA Ramdas Shivhare and EX Mayor Atul Patel. The guests along with the crowd assembled at the GIvt Subhash Higher Secondary School, where the CM went ahead with the programme of Charan Poojan of five girls—a religious ceremony hailing daughters, followed by Madhya Pradesh gaan, and the Bhumipujan ceremony of through raising the plaque stone. The renowned persons at the venue then welcomed the CM and Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan, where mayor in her address said that the CM has gifted the region with a lot of welfare oriented programmes such as 1 Rupee a kilo food grain, making residential quarters for small time farmers, Rs 18 crore aid under the Mukhyamantri Adhosanrachna Yojana.
