BHOPAL: Cold wave continued to lash Madhya Pradesh on Saturday.Pachmarhi recorded 3 degree Celsius while 4 ° C was recorded at Umaria and Rewa. Five degree Celsius was recorded at many places in the state. Cold wave condition prevailed in north- Madhya Pradesh and east Madhya Pradesh.

Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 25.5 ° C which was normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 8.2 ° C which was 3 ° C below normal. Indore recorded a maximum temperature of 27.2 ° C which was 1 ° C above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 11 ° C. Gwalior recorded a maximum temperature of 25.4 ° C which was 2 ° C above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 5.3 ° C which was 2 ° C below normal.

Jabalpur recorded a maximum temperature of 24.3 ° C which was 2 ° C below normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 7.8 ° C which was 2 ° C below normal.

According to Meteorological department, cold wave will prevail in the state. Many places in the state have recorded 5 degree. Wind is northerly and it infused the frostiness in atmosphere.
