BHOPAL: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in was celebrated in a big way in the Capital on Monday. Sweets were distributed and crackers were burst at the state BJP office and at the residence of state BJP chief Narendra Singh Tomar, who has been appointed a Union Minister.

The BJP workers had installed huge TV screens at many places in the city to enable the people to watch Modi’s oath-taking ceremony. Sweets were distributed and crackers were burst at the state BJP office. On this occasion, state secretary Rajo Malviya, State office secretary Satyendra Bhushan, State Asssistant office secretary Rajendra Singh Rajput, state spokesperson and MLA Rameshwar Sharma, BJYM chief Amardeep Maurya and others were present.

Amardeep Maurya said that the BJYM had celebrated the day of Modi taking over as “Shreshtha Bharat Diwas”. Namo Chai was served and TV screens were installed at public places.Lata Vankhede, state chief of BJP Mahila Morcha said that members of the morcha prepared Rangoli and lighted earthen lamps to celebrate the occasion.
