BURHANPUR : Angandwadi children of Titgaon village enjoyed a gala time with divisional commissioner Sanjay Dubey here on Friday. The commissioner was here to inspect the village under the Smart Village project. He was highly impressed by the enthusiasm of the children at Anganwadi. He played games with them and asked several questions related to Maths and English.
Later, Dubey and district collector JP Irene Cynthia visited the villagers and made an appeal asking them to free the village from open defecation practice.
SP Anil Singh Kushwaha, CEO of district panchayat Basant Kurre, SDM (Nepanagar) Shankarlal Singade and officers of woman and child development also accompanied him.
The officers examined the houses constructed under the ‘Chief Minister Rural Housing Mission’ and asked the villagers to keep their surroundings neat and clean. Later, the commissioner also visited the government primary school and interacted with the children.
