BHOPAL : Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said the tax payers of the state have deposited Rs 23000 crore in the state exchequer. He said in an attempt to ease of doing business the involvement of bureaucracy will be reduced. The CM stated while distributing the Bhamasaha award for the year 2015 on Sunday.
The CM also declared that for the betterment of the businessmen, a business welfare board will be constituted. He added that the representatives of the business community will also be the members in the board.
For the year 2014-15 the Bhamasaha award has been conferred on Ultratec cement, Hindustan Unilever limited Indore, Langar Bidi, Indore Milk Fedration, I.T.C Ltd, Mahindra and Mahindra, State cooperative, Bhopal, Indian Oil Corporation and Hindustan Petroleum limited and Bharat Oman Refinery limited Bhopal for paying the highest amount of tax.
The Bhamasaha award had been established in the year 2008, by the commercial tax department. Under the scheme, the best tax payers are felicitated by the state government. The CM stated that the statue of Bhamasaha will be established in the state.
The CM said that the contribution of businessmen and industrialist in the state economy is very important. Their contribution should be known to everyone in the state. He also added that the real estate business will be promoted in the state. He added that the poor need facilities and the business needs respect.
The businessmen and industrialist have contributed Rs. 23,000 crore in the state economy. For last ten year the state has made important progress, the contribution of the businessmen and industrialist has played a main role in it.
Finance minister Jayant Malliya informed that for the good business, the notification regarding the ‘business samadhan yojna’ will be declared soon.
The chief minister have distributed the state level Bhamasaha awards from the year 2012-13, 2013-14, 2014-15, who have deposited maximum tax amount.
