Charges framed against Raghavji in sodomy case

BHOPAL : Former finance minister Raghavji, who is an accused in a case of sodomy with his servant, will be prosecuted under sections 377 and 506 of the IPC. District court, special judge, DK Paliwal on Monday framed charges against Raghavji. The court has also framed charges on Sher Singh and Suresh Singh, who were servants of Raghavji. Rajkumar, a servant of Raghavji, had lodged a complaint against Raghavji of committing sodomy with him. Charge-sheet in the case was filed in November, 2015. Earlier, Rajkumar had alleged that Raghavji in July 2013, had performed unnatural sex with him. He has also presented a CD as evidence. A case under section 377 was lodged against Raghavji on the basis of report of Rajkumar and the former had to quit the ministry. Raghavji had to spent time behind bars for 39 days too. Difficulties for Raghavji may grow with the court framing charges against him.
