Bhopal: The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed a supplementary charge-sheet in the Court of ADJ, Sagar against four accused persons including two impersonators and two candidates, in a PMT entrance test scam of 2013 conducted by Vyapam, on Monday. The allegations pertain to two separate instances of impersonation of candidates in the PMT, 2013 on 7 July 2013 at the same examination centre.
The CBI has filed charge sheet against the two impersonators, Yashpal Nagar impersonator for the candidate Rakesh Kumar, Mukesh Rajput impersonator for the candidate Shiv Kumar.
CBI has also charged two candidates Rakesh Kumar and Shiv Kumar into the case.
The irregularity occurred at Government Autonomous Girls PG Excellence College, Sagar, in two separate examination halls. In this case all the four accused were already charged by the State Police and the case was pending investigation for collecting further evidence. During CBI investigation, evidence, including expert opinion, had been collected.
The accused persons have allegedly committed offences of criminal conspiracy, cheating, cheating by impersonation, forgery of valuable security, use of forged documents as genuine, using unfair means in recognised examination and many more.
The case registered at Police Station Gopalganj, Sagar was one amongst the 72 under trial cases
which were ordered by Supreme Court to be transferred to CBI for taking over trial and further investigation.
