Cars rams into tree near Ashta, one dead

BHOPAL: A man died while another sustained serious injuries when their car ramned into a tree off Indore- Bhopal road in Ashta area of Sehore district on Saturday evening. The injured has been admitted to hospital in Bhopal. According to information Ashwini Patel ( 31) son of Govind Patel and Vikas Patel ( 24) son of Babulal Patel, both residents of Padmanabh Nagar under Aishbagh police station in Bhopal were coming from Indore to Bhopal in Swift Dzire car number MP 04 CD 2382. Ashwini was driving the car and as they reached in front of Dileep Dabha he lost controls over the vehicle and ramned into a tree off the road. Ashwini was pronounced death while Vikas was admitted in Sehore from where he was referred to Bhopal.

The body was handed over to the family after post- mortem examination. It was said that they were doctors but did not confirm this.

Man duped of Rs 20,000

A man was duped in the name of employment in Talaiya area. The victim who lost Rs 20 thousand in the incident has registered a case against the accused. According to information, Hamesh Kumar Punjabi ( 46) son of Lal Singh Punjabi is a resident of Adampur Chawni on Raisen Road. His son is unemployed and he met the accused Mahesh Soni in September.

Soni claimed that he has relations with officers of Rajabhoj Airport and assured job for his son at the airport. He took Rs 20 thousand and three mobile phones from Punjabi for this. After two months when Mahesh failed to arrange the job for his son and did not return the money, the victim lodged a complaint with police. On his complaint Talaiya police have registered a case under section 420 of IPC against the accused. Police is looking for the accused.

3 women file dowry cases at Mahila police station

Harassed for dowry, three women from different places have taken refuge to Mahila police station and registered cases against their in- laws. The cops of Mahila police station started an investigation into the cases. According to reports, Neeta Sheshkar ( 31), wife of Khagesh Chandra Gujare, resident of Mayur Vihar under Ashoka Garden police station, was married on May 6, 2012. In her complaint submitted to the Mahila police station, she said ever since her marriage her husband and in- laws are harassing her for dowry of Rs 15 lakh. On her complaint police registered a case against her husband Khagesh, father- in- law Jagdish Gujre and mother in- law Shakuntala.

In another incident, Sultana ( 25), resident of Afzal Colony, has accused her inlaws of harassing her for a motorbike and a house in dowry. Mahila police has registered a case against Imran, Ishaq and Jamila Bi in this regard. In another incident, Rehana Bi ( 28), resident of Bag Dilkhusha under Aishbagh police station, has registered a case of dowry against her in- laws including Shahid, Juhur, Mubina, Zuber, Parveen, Jammu, Shakir and Sabina. She said she was harassed for a demand of a car and Rs 2 lakh in dowry. Police registered a case under sections 498A, 323, 294, 506 and 34 of the IPC.
