BHOPAL : Union Minister for Water Resources Uma Bharati has said that after the acquittal of film actor Salman Khan, she cannot say with any degree of certainty that anyone would be convicted.
Uma, who had come to attend a private function here on Saturday, said that the day Salman was acquitted, she felt that anyone can get away with committing crime in the country.
Commenting in the issue of National Herald, she said Sonia and Rahul think that they were above the law. “I had resigned from chief ministership after I was made an accused in a criminal case”, she said. Uma made a stop-over in Bhopal while returning from Tikamgarh.
