BHOPAL: A camp on tattooing was inaugurated at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sanghrahalaya on Tuesday by Prof RK Jain and former Director Prof KK Basa. As many as 9 tattoo artists from Mandla, Baghelkhand and Korku region are taking part in the Camp.
These are traditional tattoo artists of Korku, Kol and Gond tribes. Basant Nirgune said the main purpose behind the Camp is to save the art of tattooing from extinction and also to do research and documentation of this art.
