BHOPAL: The state cabinet, on Tuesday, gave permission to Public Works Department to directly acquire services of an architect registered by Council of Architecture for buildings’ designs, drawings and DPRs by enlisting him in PWD as per guidelines of Council of Architecture.
The cabinet decided to transfer Regional Spinal Injury and Rehabilitation Centre, Jabalpur from Social Justice Department to Medical Education Department. The centre will be run as a unit of Netaji Subhash Chandra Medical University, Jabalpur. Except one honorary post, all other 26 employees will be merged into autonomous service of Jabalpur Medical College.
The cabinet sanctioned Rs. 252 crore for setting up of state- level Dial- 100 control room and command centre of the Home Department. The cabinet endorsed 8 schemes of over Rs. 50 crore of Forest Department under 12th Five- ear Plan.
The cabinet sanctioned new posts for Tribal Welfare Department in newly constituted Agar- Malwa district. The cabinet sanctioned 2 posts of personal assistant, 6 new posts of assistant grade I, II and III for Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioners.
Besides, 4 and 10 posts of driver and peon will also be created on contract basis, respectively. The cabinet sanctioned funds under State Assistance Subsidy to promote implementation of solar street lighting and home light systems under centrally sponsored scheme for years 2013- 14 and 2014- 15.
The cabinet decided for merger in regular posts of teachers/ employees of private educational institutions brought under government from 1998 to 2001 as per government’s policy of June 26, 1995.
