BHOPAL: Bhopal market registered a business of nearly Rs 100 crore on Tuesday. More than 300 cars were sold during Pushya Nakshatra. Nearly 500 two- wheelers were also sold. People also preferred to invest money in real estate and booked flats and duplexes.
T he real estate sector too recorded a business of Rs 50 crore. Bullion market also witnessed a bullish trend on this auspicious occasion as people preferred to purchase yellow metal, particularly coins. Electronic segment also witness heavy rush and outlets like Lotus registered a good sales. Laptops, handsets of Rs 5 crore were sold.
People also purchased furniture and utensil worth Rs 5 crore in the city. According to real estate traders, people rushed to get flats and duplexes booked on this occasion. They even made advance amount. Many customers were given ready possession. Builders will try to provide them the booked property at the earliest. Similarly, automobile show room executives said that people thronged to purchase vehicles and it was hectic day for them. Nearly 300 cars were sold while 500 two wheelers were also sold. People replaced their sofa sets and they purchased furniture.
The segment registered business of Rs 5 crore. Jewellery store owners said that people, particularly ladies, preferred to purchase gold items. Nose pins and ear rings drew a large number of buyers, they said.
