Burglars target electronics shop

BHOPAL :  Thieves targeted an electronics shop at Indra Vihar Colony under Koh-e-Fiza police station and decamped with booty worth Rs 1.80 lakh in the early hours of Friday.

According to police sources, complainant Ritesh (34), son of Satish Kumar, resident of Indraprasth Colony on Airport Road in Gandhi Nagar area, owns an electronic shop at Indra Vihar Colony.

Ritesh told police that on Thursday night he closed his shop in the night and on next morning when he went to open the shop, he spotted that locks of shutter were  broken and thieves had stolen LED TVs, refrigerators, digital cameras, coolers and juicer machines, all to the tune of Rs 1.80 lakh from the shop.


He reported the matter to the Koh-e-Fiza Police which registered a case under sections 457 and 380 of IPC against unidentified thieves. Search was on to nab the culprits of the theft with the help of footages from CCTV cameras.
