BHOPAL : Burglars struck at a locked house of an in-charge of pharmacy department posted in Sagar College and escaped with gold and silver jewellery all to the tune of Rs 1.5 lakhs during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.
The incident came to light when the victim house owner returned house in the morning and spotted his house burgled subsequent to which he approached Ayodhya Nagar police station and lodged a complaint of theft.
Police said that victim Jitendra Banwari (37), a resident of Shreeram Campus was posted as in-charge of pharmacy department posted in Sagar College.
