BHOPAL: Valuables worth lakhs of rupees were burgled from Prabhu Nagar under Shahjehanabad police station area in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to the police on Wednesday morning at around 9 am, the complainant Jai Wadhwani found that the locks of his apartment were broken and on entering the house it was found ransacked. TI, Shahjehanabad police station, Salil Sharma said that the parents of the complainant reside in the apartment and had gone to visit their relatives in Bangalore on November 7. Police have registered a case under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation. The victim owns a shop and the exact loss in the burglary could be known after his arrival.
