BHOPAL: Unidentified burglars sneaked into the locked house of a retired BHEL employee at Rajharsh Colony within the limits of Kolar police station on Sunday night and after stealing the cash and valuables escaped in the Alto car of the victim house owner. The incident came to light on Monday when the neighbours informed the younger brother of the victim after which he came and registered a police complaint. The exact amount of the stolen goods could be ascertained when the victim house owner returns to the city. According to Kolar police Mayank Pal, resident of Rajharsh Colony on Kolar had gone to his meet his son posted in Bangalore in a private company around a week ago. On Monday morning, the neighbours spotted that the locks of his house were broken and the Alto car parked in the premises of his house was missing. They informed his brother Pavitra Lal Pal living in Kotra area of the city about the incident over phone following which he reached the spot and later filed a police complaint. According to the police a silver idol along with car was missing from the house however the exact goods stolen from the house could be known once Pal returns to the city. Police following the complaint registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC against unidentified accused and started investigations.
