Brother killed while trying to save sister from her hubby

BHOPAL: The 45-year-old brother of a woman lost his life when he tried to intervene in a dispute between his sister and her husband at Shabri Nagar within the limits of Kamla Nagar police station on Friday night around 9 pm. The enraged husband killed his brother-in-law with a single blow of a dagger on his neck. According to police the deceased was identified as Angoor, 45, son of Parmanand, resident of Shabri Nagar. The incident took place at 9 pm when Angoor tried to settle dispute between his sister and her husband Mukesh, 47, son of Bansilal, resident of Shabri Nagar. Accused Mukesh was beating his wife in inebriated condition when Angoor tried to pacify him. Mukesh was so enraged over this that he attacked Angoor with a dagger and slit his throat. Angoor died on the spot. Police reached the spot following the information and nabbed the accused.
