Mhow : Colonel’s Academy had the privilege of being graced by the presence of the soldiers of the Indian Army here on Thursday. The occasion were made really special when the little girls of the school tied “Rakhis’ on the wrists of these brave soldiers, thus reaffirming the steadfast faith in these courageous men in uniform for not only protecting all of us but defending the entire nation against external aggression.
The girls of the school also sent rachis to the Jawans at the border as a token of their love, respect and their prayers for their long lives.
A question-answer round were conducted in which the young girls of the school participated. The soldiers very patiently and graciously answered their questions.
This special bond exemplified by the simple act conveyed to these brave soldiers that their sacrifices and valor is held in the highest esteem by each one of the students of the school and that all of them hold a special place in our hearts.
