BHOPAL :The body of a constable, posted in Border Security Force at Hisar Haryana, was found in mutilated condition at railway tracks near Ashima Mall within the limits of Misrod police station on Sunday morning. Police reached the spot and identified the body on the basis of the documents found in the clothes of the deceased. A case has been registered and the body was sent for post-mortem examinations.
Investigation officer ASI Chandrabhan Singh Rajput said that the deceased has been identified as Raju Nair, 28, son of Sindlingappa Nair, resident of Belgaon district in Karnataka.
His body was found lying on the tracks near Ashima Mall on Sunday morning. Locals spotted the body and informed the police around 10am. Police reached the spot and on the basis of the documents ascertained his identity. Police found also his two mobile phones in his pocket.
ASI Rajput said that prima facie it seems that deceased Nair was going to join his duty and fell accidentally from the train on the way. Whether he was in an inebriated condition would be ascertained by the post-mortem report. His kin have been informed.
In another incident a 65-year-old man committed suicide by hanging self at his house at Keela village within the limits of Sukhi Sewania police station on Saturday night. Police reached the spot following the information and sent the body for post-mortem examinations after registering a case.
According to police the deceased has been identified as Jitendra Singh, 65, resident of Keela village. He lived alone in the house while his children live in separate houses. He was found hanging in his house on Saturday night. It was yet not clear why he took the extreme step.
