NEEMUCH : With the arrest of one accused, police claimed to have solved mystery behind a blind murder case occurred a day ago. Police arrested one accused identified as Ashok Mohanlal Meghwal Deepukheda while his companion Vikram Manohar Singh Sondhiya, resident of Bahadurpura is still at large. The accused admitted his involvement in the murder of Jaswant alias Jaskaran, resident of Medat (UP).
He revealed that they shot him with the intention of loot. While addressing a press conference on Wednesday, police superintendent informed about the same and said that they have launched a manhunt to arrest the absconding accused. He said that the accused plotted their loot on Monday morning near Mhow-Naseerabad Highway at Nayagaon Check post and stopped a bolero near Malhargarh.
However, their attempt averted as Bolero driver fled and hide behind a truck. Deceased Jaswant witnessed this incident and tried to help the driver but the accused shot him and fled in the jungle. The passersby brought him to the hospital where he was declared brought dead. Police instantly reached at the spot and blockaded the roads. With the help of villagers they were able to trace the accused Ashok and arrested him.
