BJP to complain against Katare to I-T, Lokayukta

BHOPAL : The Bharatiya Janata Party State General Secretary Arvind Bhadoria, amidst tussle between BJP and Congress over Vyapam scam, launched an attack on Leader of Opposition Satyadev Katare on Friday.

Bhadoria, in a press conference, charged Katare with having acquired wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income. Bhadoria, producing affidavits submitted by Katare in Assembly elections of 2008 and 2013, claimed that they differed widely. Bhadoria alleged that Katare, in declaration of assets of 2008, did not mention the properties he owned but revealed them in the declaration of 2013.

According to Bhadoria, Katare gave false details of his properties in the affidavit of 2008. He alleged that Katare’s PAN card numbers during Lok Sabha elections 2004, Assembly Elections 2008 and Assembly Elections 2014 were different. Bhadoria said he would file complaint with Lokayukta, Income Tax Department, Election Commission and Superintendent of Police against Katare. Bhadoria added that he would make further revelations about Katare’s properties soon. BJP State General Secretary said Congress President Sonia Gandhi too should immediately remove Katare from the post of Leader of Opposition.

Bhadoria quipped that how Katare managed to amass huge wealth as had worked as a ward boy in Kasturba Hospital. Bhadoria alleged that Katare’s son has partnership of Rs 6 crore in Fab India Showroom.

Giving details of PAN cards, Bhadoria said a person can get only one PAN card lawfully. He said it must be disclosed as to how Katare managed to get three PAN cards made. He said Katare showed PAN number VKPK4861G in 2004, ABKPK4861G in 2008 and ABKPK4661G in 2013.

Complaint lodged in Habibganj police station

Arvind Bhadoria also lodged a complaint against Katare in Habibganj police station. The complaint is about Katare owning disproportionate wealth, misusing his position and manipulating documents. Bhadoria was accompanied by State Vice President Vijesh Lunawat.
