NARSINGHPUR: A bike-borne youth sustained critical injuries after his bike, running at a very high speed, rammed into a truck parked on the roadside at Rajmarg Square under Suatala police station area on Monday night. The injured has been admitted to the district hospital.

According to sources, Sunil Lodhi, 18, son of Bhujval Lodhi, resident of Maharajpur village in Sagar district, was returning to his village around 11pm on Monday. While running his bike at a very high speed he lost his control and the bike collided into a truck parked near an eatery, some 2km away from Rajmarg Square.

Lodhi was grievously injured in the accident and the area resident rushed him to the community health centre at Kareli. The doctors on duty at the centre referred Lodhi to the district hospital after first-aid. His condition is said to be critical at the district hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
