BHOPAL: While the Ayodhya Nagar police was groping in the dark in the incident of loot committed by three armed robbers at the home of deputy director of Madhya Pradesh AIDS Control Society, two bike-borne youth snatched gold chain of a 29-year-old woman while she was drawing ‘Rangoli’ outside her house in Bhawanidham Phase 1 on Sunday afternoon. The looted chain was said to be worth Rs 70,000. TI, Ayodhya Nagar police station, Ashish Pawar said complainant Purna Priya, 29, wife of O Bala Guraiya, resident of Bhavanidham, in her complaint to the police stated that she was drawing rangoli outside her house on Sunday afternoon around 4 pm. At the same time two bike-borne youth came on a blue or black Bajaj Pulsar like bike from behind and stopped besides her. The one riding pillion snatched her gold chain weighing 30 grams worth Rs 70000 and fled.
