Bhopal: Youth climbs mobile tower, seeks meeting with Krishna Gaur

A 30- year old youth climbed atop mobile tower at Ayodhya by-pass on Monday seeking an audience with BJP candidate Krishna Gaur. High voltage drama followed as the man refused to come down without meeting the BJP leader. The man wanted to appraise Gaur of his grievances and demands and seek her assurance.

Teams of police as well as fire brigade rushed to the site to bring down the youth. The team managed to convenience him to come down. He was arrested later and booked under Property Defacement Act as he installed flag of BJP without seeking permission.

SHO Harish Yadav said, the man Sanjay Jagjal,30, climbed up the mobile towers saying that he wants to meet BJP candidate from Govindpura, Krishna Gaur. The man installed BJP banner on mobile tower without permission so he has been arrested and booked under relevant act, said the SHO. Jagjal was later released on bail. Earlier, IG Jaideep Prasad in one of its orders had instructed the mobile towers companies to put fence around their units, however, many are sans any fencing.
