Bhopal: Workshop on Juvenile Justice Act

MORENA: On the directives of the directorate of woman empowerment, Bhopal and under the guidance of collector Vinod Sharma, a two-day training workshop on Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015 and the Rules 2016 and Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 was organised here on March 30-31 by the department of woman and child development, Morena. Addressing the trainees, Sanjay Agarwal, district woman empowerment officer gave a detailed presentation on the provisions of the two Acts. An Open House was also held in which district woman and child development officer Gautam Adhikari was present. District Women’s Empowerment Officer, Gwalior Shaleen Sharma also interacted with the participants.
