Bhopal: Women’s panel hears complaint against top forest official

BHOPAL: In the hearing at Women’s Commission here on Friday, 15 cases were heard by the bench headed by chairperson Lata Wankhede and Ganga Uikey. Most of the cases were of work place harassment.

The case against J.K Mohanty, APCCF, Forest Department was also heard in the hearing on Friday. The complainant said that since she had come to commission she has been troubled more by the department and her increment has also been stopped. The employee of the accounts department who filed the complaint said that in spite of removing those who has been mentally harassing her, the department is transferring the officials from one section to another.

Lata Wankhede said that the case needs to be investigated thoroughly and justice will be served once she receives all the documents asked by the commission from the department and the complainant.
