Bhopal: Women’s panel chief holds hearing

MORENA: Government is serious as the torture and crimes are increasing on the women therefore state women commission has determined a toll free number 18002336112 on which the victim women can register their complaints, it was said by state women commission chairperson Lata Wankhade on Thursday on the occasion of the bench she set. She said that the commission is very conscious to stop the different types of atrocities and crimes against the women. Total 37 cases were included in the bench in which the hearing was done of only 15 cases due to cold and fog. The other date would be decided for the rest of the cases. On this occasion district panchayat chairperson Gita Harshana commission members Ganga Uike, social worker Madhu Dandotia including police and woman child development/ woman empowerment employees were present. Total 450 applications are put in the commission. At the state level only 3500 applications have been resolved from pending 7000 applications; still 9000 applications are pending at the state level.
