Congress, BJP come face to face
The killing of the twins has brought the Congress and BJP face to face. Even as BJP accused the government for the collapsing law and order in state, the ruling Congress targeted the opposition alleging involvement of saffron body in the Satna kidnapping and killing.

Donning black ribbon on head, BJP members took out a candle march and staged a demonstration at New Market blaming the Kamal Nath government for the killing of the two siblings. BJP spokesperson, Rajnish Agrawal said the party will hold state-wide protests on Monday over the killing of two children.

On being questioned about the kidnapping-murder mastermind Padam Shukla being a Bajrang Dal leader’s brother and the seized Bolero bearing BJP flag, Agrawal said “IG-Rewa Zone during the press conference in Satna never mentioned that Bajrang Dal leader was involved in the crime. Also, the seized vehicle bearing flag doesn’t mean that BJP or any allied outfit is involved in the heinous crime.

Crimes have been committed in the past by criminals attired in police and army fatigues and travelling in vehicles bearing beacons and police/army flags, does that mean that police/army were involved in those crimes.” Meanwhile, Congress state media president Sobha Oza alleged involvement BJP and Bajrang Dal members in the kidnapping and killing of the two brothers. She alleged that kidnapping-murder mastermind Padam Shukla is a Bajrang Dal leader’s brother and the seized Bolero also bears BJP flag.

“The lust of BJP leaders for money has overpowered them so much that are now getting into kidnapping and killing and they even feel proud about it,” said the Congress leader. “In last 15 years the involvement of the BJP leaders in the crime and also their support to goons and anti-social elements has come to light. All such people kept taking the membership of BJP, RSS and Bajrang Dal and became the leaders,” alleged Oza.
