The state is witnessing a wide fluctuation in temperatures as this is the period of transition from rainy season to winter. The wind pattern is gradually changing. Northern wind infuses chilliness in atmosphere. The stronger the wind, the more the intensity of cold. The weather is totally dry presently. It will take some time for the temperatures to become uniform in the state.
Director Meteorological department Dr Anupam Kashyapi said, “Winter will onset on time this year. It has already made its presence felt in Madhya Pradesh. There is no reason for delay in onset of winter. Temperature has started reducing at many places.”
