HOSHANGABAD: BJP state media in-charge Lokendra Parashar convened a meeting of media in-charges of Betul and Narmadapuram districts here on Wednesday. Addressing a press conference, he said that he would talk to state BJP chief Narendra Kumar Chouhan and CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and try to arrange a mahapanchayat of journalists so that the journalists would get benefits of facilities given by them at the government at block, district and state level. He also said that the state government has been organising mahapanchayats for all sections of people. People get the benefits of the welfare schemes that are run by the government in which the media also plays an important role. He added that the common man was not facing problems due to demonitisation; only those having black money are suffering. Now army men have been deployed to speed up the work of printing of currency notes. He said planting of saplings around the Narmada River would increase greenery. On this occasion party district chairman Harishankar Jaiswal, office in-charge Shambhu Sonkia, municipality chairman Akhilesh Khandelwal, district treasurer Manohar Badani, Sudhir Tiwari, Shailendra Dixit, Shailendra Arya, Akhilesh Parihar, nagar mandal chairman Rajkumar Chouksey, Madanlal Raghuvanshi, Chandan Singh Thakur including party workers were present.
Parashar also met the assembly Speaker Dr Sitasharan Sharma regarding Narmada Yatra party district chairman Harishankar Jaiswal, mandal chairman Rajkumar Chouksey including other workers were also present.
