BHOPAL: MP Human Rights Commission has taken cognisance of the media reports of a nine-hour delay in the medical examination of a minor rape victim of Aishbgah area. The Commission has sought to know from the DIG, Bhopal range, superintendent, Sultania Hospital and CMHO whether it was really so and, if yes, why.

According to reports, the police took the victim for medical examination at 6.30 pm to Sultania Hospital, where the doctors took nine hours to complete the process. The Commission said this was ‘insensitive behaviour’ on the part of the authorities.
