Bhopal: West Central Railway official jailed for taking Rs 1,500 bribe

BHOPAL: Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI), special judge has sentenced three years jail to a senior section engineer (STMO) of West Central Railway in a case related to taking bribe in 2009. A case was registered by CBI, Bhopal, against senior section engineer, Suresh Kumar Trivedi for demanding Rs 1,500 for getting a bill of Rs 5,750 passed from Devendra Kotsthane. A charge-sheet was also put up under prevention of corruption Act.
