Bhopal: “On the instructions of state government the administration have prevented me from entering Mandsaur to meet the members of the deceased farmer’s family, on Wednesday,” alleged Patidar leader Hardik Patel while addressing the public meeting in Panagar of Jabalpur district, on Thursday.
While addressing the meeting Patel said “The Mama’s supporters (chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan) of the state has given me a good welcome with the eggs and stones, but I am not going to stop, if you want to stopped me fire with the gun. I will not going to stop until I am have last drop of blood in my veins.”
He alleged that the state government is suppressing the farmer’s agitation with the help of police. The police are forcing the farmers to sell out their produces including milk. He asked the farmers to wake up and come forward against the injustice been done by the BJP government in the state.
State president of Patidar Samaj, Mahendra Patidar alleged that the BJP and Bajrangdal supporters have created ruckus in the rally with the help of the local police. “The police remained ignorant against the stone pelting egg throwing and regular obstacles rose during the rally”, he alleged.
Nine arrested for creating rukus
The rally was taken out from Jabalpur to Panagar. As it reached Aga-chowk in Jabalpur-two bike born youths threw eggs at the vehicle of the leader in the rally. Latter when the rally reached Adhartal area some of the protesters pelted stone on the car. In the midway too many protesters raised slogans against the leader. SP Jabalpur Sashikant Shukla informed that nine people had been arrested by the police who were creating ruckus during the rally.
