Bhopal: The whistle blower of Vyapam case- Dr Anand Rai has submitted 5000 documents to the Special Task Force related to the PMT-2013 scam, here on Wednesday. STF has received over 1200 complaints regarding the scam. CBI is conducting the investigations in the matter on the Supreme Court’s order. Congress had promised to reopen the Vyapam scam in its Vachan Patra manifesto, during the assembly elections held in November 2018.
Now after taking charge as the Chief Minister- Kamal Nath had reopened the Vyapam file, without affecting the CBI inquire. Rai informed that in PMT 2013 the private medical colleges violated the norms and gave around 200 admissions to ineligible candidates. Rai complaint the matter to the Admission and Fees Regularity Committee and after the investigations the Committee had imposed the penalty of Rs 13.10 crore on the erring medical colleges. Rai said that he had submitted various complaints made into the matter, including the names of the candidates who were given the admission and also the eligible ones who were supposed to get the admission but lost their opportunity due to corruption.
