BHOPAL: The much-awaited verification of documents of selected teachers will resume on June 7. The commissioner of the school education department issued the instructions on Tuesday in this regard.
The verification of documents of teachers selected for higher secondary and middle schools had started after protests by the candidates but stopped on May 25 due to the corona-induced lockdown.
The teacher recruitment process started in 2018. The examinations were conducted in February-March 2019 and the results were declared in October 2019, while the merit list was declared in February 2020.
Nevertheless, the process for recruitment did not start. The process for verification of documents started in July 2020 but stopped abruptly after three days.
Later, the selected teachers started a protest after which the verification started on April 1, 2021, but it stopped again on April 16. The news of restarting the process has brought a feeling of joy among the selected teachers.
