Bhopal: The residents of Baghmughalia extension had an unpleasant morning after they discovered that the panes of their four-wheelers were smashed. The incident has similarities with the one reported in Kamla Nagar area, in Janaury. The area of Baghmughalia extention Naharpur is infamous for thefts.
Residents claim that none of the reported cases of robbery that occurred in last few years have been solved. Grabs of CCTV camera shows over 12 men seen damaging the four-wheelers including auto using stones and sticks. They are seen carrying swords in their hands. As many as 9 four-wheelers were damaged by the unidentified miscreants who were seen using 4 bikes.
The victims are questioning as to how such miscreants go scot free, when police fines for triple riding even during the day time. The incident occurred within a span of 12 minutes from 1:50 and 2 am, on intervening night of Monday and Tuesday, said a resident of the area Umashankar Tiwari adding that the accused were seen in the CCTV footage wielding swords and sticks. Katara SHO KL Dhangi says that an FIR has been registered and the probe is underway but no one has been arrested so far. Similar, incident was reported in Kamla Nagar area in which six persons were arrested.
