Valuation of copies of class X and XII have been started by Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education from Wednesday.
Over one crore copies from both the classes will be checked till April 17. A training of evaluators from various schools were given orientation about dos and don’ts like marks allotment, marks deduction on the day one at Model School.
More than 1000 teachers have been put on duty in Bhopal for valuation. Centre valuation of answer copies of class V and VIII has also started at school clusters across the state. Answer copies of these classes started at cluster level from last three years after exam pattern of these classes were set on board pattern.
Model answers yet to reach centers
However, reports suggest that model answer copies haven’t reached the schools yet. These model answers guide teachers on allotment of marks. More than 20 lakh students have appeared in these two classes, say Rajya Shiksha Kendra officials. School education official, Dharmendra Sharma said that model answer copies are ready and will be soon dispatched to various centers across the state.
