Bhopal: Two rapes woman on pretext of showing rented house

Kolar police have booked two men for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman and then threatening her for life. The woman is separated from her husband and lives with her mother in area under Jahangirabad police station. The woman was looking for a job and was planning to shift to another area. One Jitendra Namdev approached her assuring that he would arrange a rented accommodation. On March 17, on pretext of looking for house, he took her to Sarwadharam area.

There he offered her tea and asked her to wait as his brother-in-law Rajendra Namdev was to arrive. Threatening her for life, the two allegedly raped her taking turns the entire night. Returning home she kept mum and did say a word about the incident. On Friday, she confided in her mother and narrated her ordeal. The two then went to Kolar police and lodged a complaint. Police have registered an FIR, the accused are on the run.
