BHOPAL: The Kolar police nabbed two students of different private engineering colleges and recovered two stolen bikes from their possession on Thursday.
Acting on a tip off about two suspicious youths trying to sell motorbikes near Sagar Premium Towers, the police rushed to the spot and nabbed them. The accused were not able to provide details of the vehicles and confessed that they were stolen.
The accused have been identified as Rishabh Chaturvedi, 20, and Tannya Mayankar, 20, both residents of Sarwadharam Colony. They are the student of a private engineering college. The Kolar police said that Chaturvedi is a student of TRUBA College and Mayankar is the student of LNCT.
The miscreants were arrested at around 10 am and when the police reached the spot to nab the two they tried to escape the spot but were chased down by the police. In the initial investigation police found that the two motorbikes were stolen from TT Nagar and Gokul Apartment in Kolar area. The motorbikes were stolen from parked areas and where targeted from deserted areas.
