The Habibganj government railway police (GRP) claimed to have nabbed two persons with Rs 20 lakh while they were deboarding the Delhi-Bhopal Shatabdi express, on Wednesday, at around 02:20 pm. The duo: 60-year-old and 28-year-old Ashu Dikshit had boarded the train from Lalitpur. The team then informed their seniors who also arrived at the spot.
Police claimed that Tiwari alleged that he had to give the money to a contractor in Bhopal while Dikshit claimed that he had never met Tiwari before. Income tax department were informed and the money and the men were handed over to them. GRP SHO BL Sen said the two were held as a part of monitoring drive of election commission. He said the two have been asked to show the documents of the money.
