UMARIA: Around 100 tribal youth are learning how to protect and preserve land, water and forests through non-violent means at Rijhonjha village of Manpur Janpad at the leadership development camp organised by Ekta Parishad.
Senior activist Santosh Singh is guiding the participants at the camp. Singh told the participants that they have to build exploitation-free villages. He urged the participants to work for de-addiction, cleanliness, health and women’s equality. He said that villages should be made economically self-reliant and for this small and cottage industries should be encouraged. Bhagwat Patel, district co-ordinator of Ekta Parishad also guided the participants. The strategy for making ‘Jay Jagat’ successful was also discussed.
