Bhopal: Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTec) Ratibad, Department of Mechanical Engineering concluded its two day training programme on applied thermodynamics and applications. The two day training programme was inaugurated by chief guest State Co-ordinator, TEQIP, RGPV, SC Choube in presence of Associate Professor, BUIT Bhopal, Pravin Singh, Professor, IIITDM Jabalpur, Tanuja Sheory, Principal, SISTec-R, Jyoti Deshmukh.
The workshop focused on basic principle of heat and temperature and its relation to energy and work in various form of applications. On the first day of training, Pravin Singh enlightened students on basic concepts of engineering thermodynamics and commonly used applications whereas Tanuja shared details on Exergy Accounting as emerging field in the world of thermodynamics.
The second day of training witnessed presence of Associate Professor, IITRAM Ahmedabad, Ajit Parwani, Professor, Ujjain Engineering College, Ujjain, Sunil Punjabi and Associate Professor, IIT Indore, Ritunesh Kumar as eminent speakers. The training programme was attended by more than 100 students and 40 faculties of various colleges and institutions of Madhya Pradesh.
