Traffic diversions and restrictions will come into force on Tuesday as over thousands of BJP workers are expected to participate in ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’ to be addressed by party Chief Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi here. Vehicles coming from Indore will reach the venue at Jambooree Maidan in the BHEL locality while crossing through Khajuri Sadak, Bakaria, Lambakheda, Chaupada Kala and Patel Nagar.
While party workers coming from Rajgarh (Biora) will take the route via Mubarakpur Jod, Lambakheda Jod, Patel Nagar, Anand Nagar to Jamburi cut point to reach the venue. The vehicles coming from Sagar, Raisen will reach the ground passing through Patel Nagar and Anand Nagar. Similarly, the vehicles coming from Hoshangabad road will drive through 11-mile to Jahagaria road to Patel Nagar, Anand Nagar to reach the venue.
The vehicles from areas adjacent to railway station platform number 6, will have to take the route of Alpana trisection to Sangan talkes trisection for the bridge to reach Bajaria area. While the motorists from area adjoining platform number 1 will have to drive down to Prabhat trisection, ITI, JK road, Piplani to Ratnagiri to reach Jamburi maidan.
Party workers reaching city on trains will have alight at Habibganj railway station from where they will have to take the route for the venue via Saket Nagar, Barkheda, Mahatma Gandhi School, Vijay market. VIPs coming for the event will pass through Mahatma Gandhi square to Ayappa temple to Gas Godam to Saint Xavier’s school to reach the VIP parking.
Four-wheelers coming from the side of Mahatma Gandhi square will reach Ganesh Chowk Cut Point after crossing Mahatma Gandhi school parking and Mahatma gandhi trisection to reach the venue of the parking at the Saint Xavier school.
