Bhopal: A 15-year-old girl, who was returning from her coaching class was allegedly waylaid and abused by three masked men in Bhopal on Thursday evening. They allegedly attacked her with a blade and fled on a bike. According to city superintendent of police (CSP) Govindpura Amit Kumar said the girl attends a coaching in the area. He said the incident occurred at around 04:20 pm. She told police that three masked men arrived and started hurling abuses on her. However, she has not levelled allegation of harassment against them, he said.
She also told that the accused attacked her and one of them tried to slit her wrist with a blade. Kumar further said that the girl’s statements were taken and no injuries, as alleged, were found on her wrist in her medical examination. An FIR has been registered under sections 323, 294 and 506 and nothing has turned up during the scanning of the CCTV footage of the area. Police is planning to take the girl to other areas near it, as she might have not described the area properly due to hurry.
