Bhopal: Three held with 5 stolen bikes

BHOPAL: The police have arrested vehicle lifters and have recovered five vehicles and four android mobile handsets worth Rs 5 lakh from them. Those who have been arrested include Mohammed Ali, 19, son of Mohammed Faizan, resident of Chataipura (Budhwara), Samar alias Hyder Ali, 23, son of Qmar Ali resident of Jogipura (Budhwara) and Shahrookh, 21, son of Abdul Samad, 21, resident of Kalyanpura (Budhwara).

Acting on tip off that two suspects riding bikes were trying to sell them off at Depot Square, the police cordoned off the area and arrested them. They admitted to having stolen the vehicles. SP Sidhardh Bahuguna, while interacting with media, said, “The accused admitted that they used to commit thefts to meet their needs. They used to break the locks to steal the vehicles.”
