Bhopal: Thieves struck at Aapoorti Super Market, situated in Gangotri Complex, New Market on Sunday night and made away with Rs 6.90 lakh. Super market manger Farhan has reported the incidence to TT Nagar police. He claimed that Rs 6.90 lakh cash were missing from the store.
According to police, some unidentified entered through top of the building and entered the store through terrace gate after breaking the locks. Front shutter locks were found intact when staff reached the store at 10.00 am. No items were disturbed or stolen by the miscreants who only targeted cash. Police are scanning CCTV camera footage to get the clue.
SHO Virendra Chauhan said, said that things looks fishy prima facie as the store is located at such a spot that it is difficult to target it without being caught. “It is beyond my understanding as how unidentified miscreants entered Apoorti Super market and took away only cash of Rs6.90 lakh without breaking the shutter.
It is quite premature to make comments. Police are considering all aspects into matter. However, shop is insured.” Complainant Farhan, who reported the matter to police, said, “On Monday, when staffs reached at 10.00am, they found cash missing. They informed me and I reached office at 11.00am. I found that shutter locks were intact. Now matter is with police which is investigating into it.”
