Mandla at 5 degrees Celsius was coldest
BHOPAL: Cold winds continued to blow across Madhya Pradesh on Monday. Indore and Bhopal recorded a sharp drop in day temperature. The weather remained chilly in state capital throughout the day, which intensified in the evening.
Bhopal recorded drop of 3.2 degrees Celsius while Indore recorded drop of 3.5 degrees Celsius. Attributing the sudden fall in day temperature to disappearance of clouds, the weather man predicted further fall in temperature in next 24 hours.
Mandla recorded night temperature of 5 degrees Celsius on Sunday which was lowest in the state. Pachmarhi and Gwalior continued to freeze at 6 degrees Celsius.
On Monday, Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 24.6 degrees Celsius which was normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 9.8 degree Celsius which was one degree below normal. On Sunday, day temperature was 27.8 degrees Celsius and night temperature was 10 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, Indore recorded a maximum temperature of 25.2 degrees Celsius which was 2 degree below normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 10.8 degrees Celsius which was one degree above normal. On Sunday, day temperature was 28.7 degrees Celsius.
