Bhopal: A 17-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by setting herself ablaze on Sunday evening. The minor went to an under-constructed house adjacent to her home and locked herself up. The teenager poured kerosene and set herself on fire.
Police said that the deceased was identified as Rani Silawat Yadav, a resident of Nishatpura.
The girl’s family had been taking care of the house where the girl ended her life. Rani’s mother was busy with domestic chores when the girl went to adjacent house and took the extreme step. When neighbour’s informed the woman that smoke was billowing out of under-constructed building, she rushed inside only to find half charred daughter. The girl was rushed to hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead.
