BHOPAL: The NSS unit and cultural forum of the Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS), Bhopal celebrated National Youth Day to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on Thursday. Various activities like lecture on “Building the Youth for the Future”, Training session on cashless transactions, poster-making competition on “Youth for Digital India” and open quiz on Swami Vivekananda was organised. As many as 150 students participated in various activities.
An interactive session on ‘cashless transactions’ was held in the first session. Gaurav Jha, Branch Manager, TT Nagar, SBI informed students about green channel, SBI buddy and online transactions. He said that the “Youth should not depend only on the bankers”. A lecture on “Building the youth for the future – the way ahead” was delivered by an additional principal chief conservator of forests in the second session.
Besides, poster making competition was also organised on “Youth for Digital India”. Open quiz on life of Swami Vivekananda was conducted in which the students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm and were given attractive prizes.
